Whipped this bad boy up in about an hour...this would just be one of the book's variant covers. Still have to decide on the colors for it as well...might paint this one up in oils and layer it to see what effect I can get out of it.

Been trying to layout all the rest of the Allison book today so I can get everything transferred over to the actual boards to get ready for the pencils and inks...busy, busy.

Lack of Updates

Sorry for the lack of updates lately...things are slow going at the moment. I've been busy trying to get all of the Allison pages laid out as roughs and then transfered over to the boards so I can get going on getting this Book 1 finished up asap. A lot of work still do on her yet...but with me being a one man operation here, it is what it is...so it'll take some time to get everything done. Hopefully I can haul some ass these coming weeks as we head towards November.

I've also been busy trying to learn how to oil paint. I'm trying to really push my art into a whole new level right now so I'm trying to learn how to do as many different things as I possibly can. Painter X got here this morning and that'll be another new program I need to sit down and take some time to figure out. It's got a lot of elements in it that PS just doesn't have, so I picked it up to get learning it.

Trying to learn to digitally paint...

This digital painting thing is turning out to be tougher than I expected...but where there's a will there is a way. I also tried oil painting for the first time today...the results were...how should I put this...utter crap. LOL

I hate being sick...

I hate being sick...nothing comes out right when you don't feel good. I've got all kinds of art done today, but not a damn thing worth posting. So here's a little something that came to mind as I thought about redoing my website to reflect my new art style. Which is something I really shouldn't be doing right now...commissions and Allison should be my top priority. But meh, at least it's something for you guys to look at for today.
